Summer Camp '08 dates, cost and sign-up!

BCRC Summer Camp is a weeklong program, Monday through Friday, with camps available most weeks of the summer from early June through mid-August. Each week of Summer Camp includes high-quality English and Western riding instruction, as well as classes in horse science and horse management. Camp also includes a fine arts program including pottery and ceramics, and time for swimming and water fun. Each week of camp ends with a horse show for students to show off what they have learned and achieved during the week.

Boot Camp

Boot Camp, which occurs one week of the summer camp season, is designed for the more serious horse enthusiast. Campers will be expected to meet the advanced-beginner level of riding, having achieved competency at the walk, trot and canter. Campers will participate in an intense learning environment that includes horse health and science education, guest speakers and field trips, as well as riding lessons to advance their current level.

Spring Break Camp is similar to our Summer Camp, composed of English and Western riding lessons combined with a fine arts program. It is held to align with spring break for the area school districts every year, and sign-up is per individual day of the week.
